We have created a MAJOR and Minor division to help keep our games as competitive as possible.
The MAJOR DIVISION is for teams who play at a “higher level”. Their pitchers are able to throw strikes at a high percentage, defense can make the routine plays, and the team knows how to position themselves in the right spots when a ball is hit.
The MINOR DIVISION is for teams who are in the developmental phase of baseball. This division is great for teams who are looking to develop players at their positions, learn the game, and implement what they work in practice into game situations.

Description
Tournament Mission
Boy’s Ranch Baseball has supported the growth of baseball in Nicaragua for nearly 10 years. Recently, we partnered with the city of Somoto to establish a youth baseball organization that has expanded from 50 to over 250 kids, with another 100 expected next year. In August, the city donated land for a new baseball field in a rural community, which will also host the National Tournament in 2025, recognizing Somoto’s growing role in Nicaraguan baseball. We invite you to support this cause by participating in BRB’s Inaugural Tournament—come enjoy the game while helping others experience it too!

Quality of Life Format
We are introducing a “Quality of Life” tournament format that will put the time back into your weekend while still allowing you to enjoy competitive baseball.
12 and under divisions:
-4 game guarantees for 1st to last place teams
-Back to back games on Saturday and Sunday
-Saturday AND Sunday game times posted at the beginning of the week
-Sunday format example:
11:40am- Field 1 (Semifinals)= Seed 1 v. Seed 4; Field 2 (Semifinals)= Seed 2 v. Seed 3; Field 3 (Consolation) Seed 5 v. Seed 6
1:30pm- Field 1 (Championship)= Winner F1 v. Winner F2; Field 2= Loser F1 v. Winner F3; Field 3= Loser F2 v. Loser F3
-Players in the consolation games will still have an opportunity to win individual awards!
13u and 14u divisions:
-4 game guarantees for 1st to last place teams
-Back to back OR one game gap at most
-Sunday format example:
1:30pm- Field 1 (Semifinals)= Seed 2 v. Seed 3; Field 2 (Consolation)= Seed 5 v. Seed 6
3:20pm- Field 1 (Semifinals)= Seed 1 v. Seed 4; Field 2= Loser F1 v. Winner F2
5:10pm- Field 1 (Championship)= Winner F1 (1:30) v. Winner F1 (3:20); Field 2= Loser F1 (1:30) v. Loser F1 (3:20)
-Players in the consolation games will still have an opportunity to win individual awards!
